We’re delighted to introduce the line-up of Australian films and talent at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.

 

At this year’s festival there are 5 Australian films screening: Lion, directed by Garth Davis will have its world premiere in Special Presentations; Ivan Sen’s outback noir film Goldstone will compete in Platform; Boys in the Trees from Nicholas Verso and Joe Cinque’s Consolation from Sotiris Dounoukos will screen in Discovery; and Trespass by Mirrah Foulkes will be compete in Short Cuts International. Details on the Australian films can be found here.

 

In addition to these, Australian talent including Joel Edgerton, Naomi Watts, Guy Pearce, Isla Fisher, Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett, Ben Mendelsohn, Sam Reid, and Jai Courtney, whom all headline international films screening in the Gala and Special Presentations. And directors Benedict Andrews and Greg McLean will present their features Una and The Belko Experiment respectively.
