We’re delighted to present Australia at Cannes 2016.

 

Please find information about the Australian titles screening in the Marché, details of upcoming Screen Australia films, as well as some of the Australian feature producers and Australian distributors who will be at Cannes this year. The Doing Business with Australia section has the latest information on incentives including the 40% Producer Offset and the official co-production program.

 

At this year’s festival, visionary Australian director George Miller will preside over the Cannes jury and will award the Palme d’Or. Some of Australia’s most exciting talent also feature in international films: Joel Edgerton stars in Loving by Jeff Nichols, In Competition; Bella Heathcote and Abbey Lee Kershaw in The Neon Demon by Nicolas Winding Refn, In Competition; Russell Crowe and Angourie Rice in The Nice Guys by Shane Black, Out of Competition; Mel Gibson in Blood Father by Jean-Francois Richet, Out of Competition; Nicholas Hamilton in Captain Fantastic by Matt Ross, Un Certain Regard; and Christopher Doyle who shot Endless Poetry by Alejandro Jodorowsky, Directors’ Fortnight.
